Another mini-session for Father's Day had me meeting up with this family in June. We visited a nearby abandoned farm and had some fun in the last bit of golden light the evening had to offer. How cute are the three siblings together?

Sunny Summer Session
Last month I did a cluster of mini-shoots for Father's Day, starting with this brother-sister duo. Lucas and Kaitlyn. Their mom was planning to give the portraits to the kids' dad as a surprise, and I'm sure he melted at the sight of Kaitlyn's adorable smile! We walked around the local park and beautiful gardens here in Creemore, soaking up the lovely sun.

Together Forever
Last fall I did engagements for a great couple, Amy & Casey, who finally tied the knot a month ago at a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Mono. I had a fantastic day with their families, full of laughter and good times all around. I've been friends with the groom's sister for years, so being already comfortable with their group of people made things even better. I unveiled my portable "photobooth" which mainly consisted of some fun props, making for hilarious candid shots during the reception. I was so happy with the photos from the entire wedding, and wish Amy & Casey only the best for their future together!

To Have & To Hold
In April I had my first wedding of the season - a lovely day with a couple from earlier this year, Aaron & Krystle. The ceremony took place at the beautiful Central United Church in Toronto, with a quick trip to the Davis Tannery in Newmarket for photos afterwards and ending with a great reception. It was a day as long as the stretch Hummer limo that the wedding party traveled in, but amazing nonetheless, and a fantastic way to start the season. I really enjoyed working with Aaron & Krystle, and their family made me feel at ease the whole day. Congrats you two!

Easter at the Log Cabin
Consider this to be my belated Easter post - though the long weekend has just passed, this collection of adorable shots was taken the week before, when I decided to hold an Easter themed photo event at a historic log cabin in my hometown. The cabin's rustic interior was the perfect backdrop for my vintage chairs, and I borrowed my sister's bunny so the kids could interact with him for the photos. It was a great day for mini sessions, a little on the chilly side, but I made lots of new clients, and enjoyed seeing a few of my regulars. Happy -belated- Easter all! :)
