Berry Nice
It's the perfect time of year for finding little jewels hidden in the garden. I love the sweet bursts of flavour that wild strawberries offer, despite their tiny size. Sometimes you are perfectly content to nibble on a handful while enjoying the sunny summer days.

We Are Family
I had a great day photographing this family yesterday, despite the heat and slightly overcast weather, we managed to get some fantastic shots. Lindsay and Carlo have been partners for a while now, so she wanted to get some nice pictures of the two of them and Carlo's children, Julia & Paul. This group brought their best smiles to the shoot, even though they said they had never sat for portraits before, and seemed very comfortable in front of the camera. We had some fun doing hilarious 'jumping' shots, and walking in the gorgeous Sunnidale Park for the afternoon.

Raw Eco Jewellery
This week I got together with my friend Devaki Macdonald, the insanely talented artist behind Raw Eco Jewellery. I spent the afternoon at her place, photographing her amazing studio and some of her finished pieces. All of Dev's work is made from reclaimed, recycled & up-cycled materials, mainly vintage clock and watch parts. The resulting necklaces, bracelets, earrings and brooches are possibly the coolest thing you've ever seen; each one of a kind. I first met Devaki when I joined a young entrepreneur co-op in Collingwood called Store 54, where she's the manager, and it's hard not to instantly want to befriend such an awesome chick.

Takin' Care of Business
Yippee! My snazzy new business cards from MOO arrived in the mail today! For those of you unfamiliar with MOO, it is a UK based online printing company with the best design concepts I have ever seen, and the quality of their products is simply amazing. I designed all my cards from scratch in Photoshop, using a total of 39 different backgrounds with vintage book and paper textures. MOO allows you to print a different design on each card, sticker or postcard that you order from them. They call it printfinity and it makes a huge difference in how you design your promotional material. Click the link below to get 10% off your first order of business cards when you sign up with MOO as a gift from them to me to you.
